Trailer repair is one of our two main lines of work, and most trailer problems don’t need a shop. Air leaks, brake trouble, dead lights and wiring faults can usually be found and fixed right where the trailer sits: at the yard, at the dock or on the shoulder.
Trailers take a beating in South Florida. Rain, heat and salt air go after plugs, wiring and air fittings, and a small leak at the gladhands can turn into brakes that won’t release.
What we handle
- Air leaks at gladhands, lines, valves and chambers
- Trailer brakes: chambers, valves and adjustment
- Service line and emergency line problems
- Brakes that drag or won’t release
- Lights, plugs, harnesses and wiring
- Problems found on a pre-trip or a roadside inspection

Blue line, red line
The blue gladhand is the service line. The red one is the emergency line. When either one leaks, the trailer brakes can’t do their job the way they should, and the truck will tell you on the gauge.
If you hear air hissing at the nose of the trailer or underneath it, don’t wait for it to get worse. Call and we’ll come find it.
